Personally, I devote 99% of my time to sport activity and training. Whether its playing tennis, golf, football or training in the gym; I thoroughly enjoy all pursuits of a physical nature and using my time in the gym to ensure I get the most from each game.

about1Personally, I devote 99% of my time to sport activity and training. Whether its playing tennis, golf, football or training in the gym; I thoroughly enjoy all pursuits of a physical nature and using my time in the gym to ensure I get the most from each game.

I have been criticised for being obsessed; I just think I’m very lucky to be able to spend nearly all my time doing what I enjoy and working with people to help them get as much from sport as I do.

As a youth, I grew up playing football and enjoyed the typical outdoor pursuits, leading me to start training in the gym – where I have now trained hard for around 10 years.

During this time, I completed a Degree in sports science and gained a Masters in Biomechanics. These prove an invaluable asset when it comes to my chosen career as a personal trainer.

My goal is to make your training productive so that every minute you spend with me brings you closer to your chosen goal. At the same time, it is vital I am able to educate my clients so that they can continue to make good progress on their own and for the years that follow. I believe this is what really makes the difference between a good trainer and an excellent one.

about2I talk to many people that have been given programmes by a trainer in the past but so much has been overlooked and not explained properly that it is of little value to the most important person – YOU!
This is not how I want to work – my clients are able to make the change and keep it because they understand the principles behind the work.

Just for the record, the following are some of the various qualifications I hold:
• MSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics and Applied Human Movement
• BSc (Hons) Degree in Sport and Exercise Science
• National Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science
• Boxercise Instructor
• Kinetic Chain Specialist
• Register of Exercise Professionals Advanced Level 3
• Passed NCFE Sports Coaching Award
• Valid First Aid Certificate

before&afterThank you for the very useful time we’ve had this year. As you know, when I came to see you, I had been training hard for a while and achieved significant weight loss (starting at 19 stone).
